A walking house grounded in live action

Traveller follows an individual and an extraordinary house equipped with six mechanical legs. The story was planned across seven shots, with each shot contributing a specific part of the journey.

My producer role sat alongside hands-on work across capture, asset development, tracking, rigging, effects, lighting and the final composite for shot five.

02 · Breakdown

Capture, rigging and destruction

The house was developed as a trackable, textured asset and rigged procedurally with Houdini KineFX. The leg system needed to feel mechanical while supporting the weight and character of the building.

Destruction research explored how the house could interact with the photographed environment. Tracking, effects and compositing were planned together so the final action remained believable.
