A form designed to feel familiar and wrong

Scary Place began as a horror-genre animation concept. I used Houdini to develop an ambiguous floating form that shifts between face, creature and abstract object.

The project focused on silhouette, surface detail, light and controlled movement rather than a conventional character performance.
