Creative Technology & Workflow Automation

I design and build practical tools that remove repetitive production work. Using AI-assisted development, Python, computer vision and Photoshop automation, I create systems that improve consistency and accelerate operational and creative workflows.

goal: remove repetitive manual work

OVERVIEW

Designing tools around real bottlenecks

Both systems began with the same question: where is skilled time being lost to repetitive work? I mapped the existing process, identified the decisions that still needed human control, then built focused tools around them. The result is automation that supports people rather than hiding the workflow behind a black box.

01 · OPERATIONS

Product Returns Scanning System

A Python application created after I identified a slow, spreadsheet-heavy returns process. The tool combines mobile barcode scanning, product matching and condition capture in one guided workflow, reducing duplicate entry and making the final records more consistent.

01

The challenge

Returns were recorded through several manual steps. Product details, condition and stock information had to be entered repeatedly, creating delays and avoidable errors.

02

The solution

I designed and developed a desktop application that accepts mobile barcode scans, matches products, records whether an item is used or damaged, assigns stock information and prepares the output for the next stage.

03

The result

The working tool reduced returns-processing time by approximately 50% in documented use, while creating cleaner records and a more repeatable process for the team.

01

Scan

Capture the product barcode from a phone or scanner.

02

Match

Identify the correct product and stock information.

03

Classify

Record whether the returned item is used or damaged.

04

Export

Save the spreadsheet and generate a printable PDF.

02 · IMAGE PRODUCTION

Automated Product Image Alignment

A Photoshop UXP tool in development for aligning product photographs consistently without sacrificing the natural shadow and background in the original image. It turns a subjective, repetitive task into a controlled workflow with visible settings and manual override.

01

The challenge

Product images arrive with small variations in scale, angle and position. Correcting each file by eye is slow, and inconsistencies become obvious when products are viewed together online.

02

The solution

The panel reads the product view from the filename, detects the visible shoe, compares it with a predefined target area on a 2048 × 2480 canvas, then calculates the required scale, rotation and position.

03

The result

The calculated transformation is applied to the original full image rather than a cut-out, preserving authentic shadows and background detail. The current open image can also be aligned directly with adjustable controls.

01

Read

Infer the required product view from the filename.

02

Detect

Find the visible shoe and measure its current bounds.

03

Transform

Calculate scale, rotation and position against the target box.

04

Preserve

Apply the transform to the original JPG to retain natural detail.

AI, WITH ACCOUNTABILITY

Where AI assists—and where I decide

I use AI as an accelerator for research, coding, prototyping and technical problem-solving. It helps me test ideas faster, but I remain responsible for the workflow logic, interface decisions, validation and final output.

AI assists

Code exploration · rapid prototyping · object detection and masking tests · debugging support · interface iteration

I direct and validate

Problem definition · workflow mapping · tool behaviour · UX decisions · production testing · quality control

WHY IT MATTERS

Creative thinking that improves the way work gets made

These projects show how I combine design awareness with technical problem-solving. I do not only create the final visual, I look at the system around it, identify friction and build practical ways to make production faster, clearer and more consistent.
